Confirm entry and scoring
Save the tournament name, entry requirement, eligible games, score formula and end time. Some events award points for wins, multipliers or wagering rather than raw profit.
Check whether a minimum stake or real-money wallet is required. Demo play and excluded bonus play should not be assumed to count.

Match round history to the board
Use one eligible round as a control. Record its ID, stake and result, calculate expected points, then allow for the published leaderboard refresh.
Near a tie, read the tie-break rule. First-to-score, highest single multiplier and final qualifying round can create different rankings from an equal point total.

Record the audited result and wallet
The live board can remain provisional after the clock ends. Save the final audited rank and the stated credit period before escalating a missing prize.
